Space Weather Prediction and ModelingBackground: I spent between 2003 and 2007 at the State University of New York at Oswego working on my Bachelors of Science degree in Meteorology. The most fun I had was dealing with weather prediction. I would always be a part of all weather prediction contests that I could. Local forecast contests, National forecast contests. The summer in between my junior and senior years I got the opportunity to intern at George Mason University, working with a Dr. Robert Weigel on space weather. Althought it was only a brief time, i had quite a bit of fun and pressed on to persue a degree in space weather through George Mason University at semesters end.
Why?: I will say this based on a standpoint of my knowledge on space weather and meteorology.
